Tree of Savior preps second Korean beta test for this month

Does it make you happy and give you that minty fresh sensation when an upcoming MMO is making its way through the beta process? Enjoy Tree of Savior’s progress, then, as the game is preparing for its second closed beta test in Korea from April 21st through the 26th.

The test will be somewhat small, with Steparu.com reporting that only 10,000 players will be invited to try it out. And for those of you whose eyes are glazing over because you think that “Korean” means “it’ll never come my way,” then wake the heck up: Tree of Savior is working on an international beta test for sometime later this year.

Oddly interested. I think I would use the customizable text to just make in-game notations rather than actually using it as a translation of the text.

Really looking forward to playing this game, and I am excited with how they have been handling the international versions as well. If anyone is curious, you can also help with translations at: https://github.com/Treeofsavior/EnglishTranslation

The Chibi/Loli character design *creeps me out*.

I think all those types of isometric games do that when designed without any notable horizon points in mind.

The art style is cool and the animations actually look pretty good. The game also seems to have a bit of depth to it. I’m definitely interested in trying it out once it goes “international.”

Ragnarok was my first MMO (and the one I miss playing the most by far) so I’m eagerly waiting for this one

Never played Ragnarok, but this is about as close that I’ll get to a Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu Online as I’ll get. So me wants.

Got a hankering for this!  I find the art and animation quite appealing
