uhhhhhhhhhhhh

Funcom has updated Age of Conan’s achievement system. The game’s latest patch offers 130 panoramas, which are camera paths that show off various Hyborian landscapes. The update also tweaks the treasure chests hidden around the game world and fills them with more and better rewards which should help you level your characters.

Finally, the patch adds new hunting achievement categories, including new rare bosses.

Oyjord There’s lots of fun PvE play. I think even solo you’d be entertained for a couple months. If you could find a small group to do dungeons with that would be even better. Raiding is pretty abysmal these days, but if you happen to hook up with one of the few guilds that can raid on any level you would enjoy it.

Good game, just no support, no population.

I’ve never wanted to love a game more than I wanted to love Age of Conan, sadly I think I finally gave up on this one some time last year.

mysecretid The same happened to me. I kinda logged in with the question “What to do here?” and logged out with  “Nothing to do here.”. At that point in time AoC was kinda struggling and the last new content was over half a year old.

sevenwind  Whats up 7winds? New classes would be awesome. I bet if new content came pouring in for AoC the population would increase. I still talk with Mr. Morrison too.

Dauthus It’s one of those games now where they want you to be level 80 ASAP because that’s where everyone is. I agree though if you are new to this game you miss out on all the low level cool stuff they had when game was released.

mysecretid Same here. Loved the game, bugs and all. Just loved the six man dungeons. Get a good group of friends from guild and I was pretty happy. May go back to it this summer.

Oyjord
As I mentioned above, I played AoC for a long time as a solo PvE player, before I finally “hit the wall” with it. Enjoyed it muchly.
It’s once-gorgeous graphics are showing a little age now though (as are some of its game mechanics), so you’ll have to judge for yourself whether it meets your standards. I still think the game looks lovely, for whatever that might be worth.
Cheers,

Yep, pretty common these days, given the number of options in MMO world.
