H1Z1 gets bees, beeswax, and bandages made of honey

Bees

Does your MMO have bees? H1Z1 does, thanks to today’s patch. The notes posted on Reddit refer to bee boxes that players must craft and place. Once that’s done, the bees will make honeycomb which can be eaten and which may also produce wax as a byproduct.

Eating honey buffs your endurance, stamina, and energy while eating the raw honeycomb gives the same buffs at a lower rate. Bottles of honey may also be combined with bandages to create dressed bandages which heal more and for longer than standard bandages.

Wax can of course be used to make candles. It’s worth noting that “if you damage a bee box, the bees will retaliate.”

Does my game have bees? Heh. Yes. Yes it does.
Tell the H1Z1 players that they could try to eat the bees in stead of the honey. The effects may be… surprising ;)

Pretty much the only reason I signed up for Archeage was because you could have bee farms (and ATITD before that, I think?). If this game has legit beekeeping, it suddenly went from a 2 to about a 7 on my radar.

I guess you could say that this (puts on sunglasses) was some buzzworthy news…
