The Daily Grind: Are you playing GTA Online?

GTA Online

I’ve been playing GTA V an absurd amount since Monday. It’s basically two games, though, which is problematic for an already overloaded schedule. I may just drop the single-player campaign. It’s fun, mind you, but I can’t stand Trevor and frankly I’d rather pull heists, hit tennis balls, collect cars and real estate, and fight it out with 29 frenemies in GTA Online.

What about you, MOP readers? Are you playing GTAO now that it’s out on PC?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!

GTA V combines the endless grinding of World of Warcraft with the pay-to-win nonsense of a Free-to-play game and the crappy imprecise controls of a Grand Theft Auto game.

It sucks.

It was a good idea, but the leveling bullshit ruins it. Good luck fighting off those level 80s when you can’t even buy a decent set of armor or weapons.

Good luck winning races when everyone has their own custom car and refuse to race you unless the “custom car” option is enabled. Right from the start they’ll leave you in the dust with their turbo charged, ugly paint jobbed car.

dirtyklingon Jack Pipsam Titanfall was 50 gig, 34 gigs of it was uncompressed audio files.
It wouldn’t surprise me if GTA V could be made smaller on PC.

Fun fun fun :) I’d never played GTA Online before, but having a blast with it when not playing single player – no game-time left for ESO at the moment :O

Elikal Ialborcales hi, I’m 40 yrs old and completely love GTA5. I’ve found far more adults playing this game than anyone under 21.

WTF you mean you can’t stand Trevor, He’s hands down the best GTA Character since Ken Rosenberg, the lawyer in Vice City.

Yes and having an immensely fun time. Having so much fun with the heists with my friends. (luckily no one likes piloting so I get to have a blast doing that)
