Yeah, thanks, I'm good.

Were you a beta tester on The Elder Scrolls Online but declined to purchase the game? Would you like to see what the game is like after a year’s worth of updates? Then you’re exactly the sort of person the development team wants playing over the coming weekend, and also exactly the sort of person invited to play during the welcome back weekend.

Former beta testers will be able to log in and play the now buy-to-play title from now until April 20th at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Console players will have to wait a bit longer, as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game aren’t due out until June 9th, although the welcome back weekend announcement notes that console players should keep their eyes open for more information soon.

Yeah, I actually care about the npc’s I this game like no other, many a time I was frozen with indecision as to whether or not to save one npc over another, or to allow the bloodfiend afflicted to escape or put them to the sword… I like how you get rewarded with a little scene after showing you the impact of your decision and how you will meet these people throughout your journey, and their reactions based on your earlier decisions (sometimes including unique dialogue options or revealing hidden paths etc) are a very nice touch indeed!

Re subbed to this a few months before b2p and I love all the changes, i was pretty much in love with this game from day 1 and only stopped due to having too many games to play and realising I had about 6 subs on the go! In the end I stuck with TOR and ff14, but having returned and seeing all the changes and improvements, I’ve been doin nothing else since ( except a little wild star pvp on the side).
Only the dbl XP week in TOR has kept me from burning out on my new found love of this game!

Koshelkin I admit I loled. In the uttermost reaches of the world, such as New Zealand, we can only dream of internet bandwidth and speeds that people in the States or Europe enjoy. :)

I agree ESO has improved drastically over the last couple of months. But on memorable NPCs I would have to say FFXI has the most memorable NPCs by far, followed by FFXIV.

Koshelkin Damonvile StanDArtxzc Red Alert Most in the UK, unless you pay for the unlimited service. Even so, many use a ‘fair use’ policy in which the bastards will throttle your speed after a while (mainly at peak times).

Also 80 gigs needed ? My install is just over 40.

Pashgan Rather shallow to base one’s opinion of a game upon its animations, it’s visuals, isn’t it? But that’s extroverts for you, I suppose. Always obsessing over the superficial. Honestly, I couldn’t care less, the game has a wonderful narrative amidst a series of polished plot arcs. Which sits alongside some varied, inventive gameplay, brilliantly written lore, and genuinely memorable NPCs.
Other than The Secret World, I can’t think of even one other MMO where ‘genuinely memorable NPCs’ is even applicable.

Pashgan This sounds like generic hate, but in case it isn’t the game is much improved since release, like surprisingly so.  I dropped ESO pretty hard after first playing, but it is definitely a worthwhile title now (at least imo) and specifically on the issue you noted, animations are improved (combat ones).

karmamule Koshelkin Damonvile StanDArtxzc Red Alert That’s a problem only a mob with pitchforks and torches can solve in a civilized manner.

Seriously, though, with today’s datasizes capping bandwidth is a very backwards thing to do. I understand it in countries which don’t have tons of money to keep up with infrastructure. But in America?

40Gb download to re-test lvl1-15 gameplay? Seriously?
