Sinaptic Walpurgisnacht Nordavind After reading this link, http://www.siliconrepublic.com/business/item/36658-pc-games-are-now-outselling
I have learned that more games are sold on PC than console. I think it would be reasonable to assume that this is because PC games are cheaper and things like Humble Bundles. Therefore, I would imagine that an average PC gamer would own more games than an average console owner (and that most PC gamers do not play all of their games). So, I believe that there are more console gamers (e.g. multiplats sell more on console) but PC gaming is becoming increasingly relevant (e.g. Dark Souls II PC sales are about equal to PS3 sales).

mysecretid PC gamers are blessed with this game’s absence on their platform. I promise that you would be disappointed if you spent money on it.

Sinaptic Nordavind Games do not sell more on PC than consoles and sales do not determine what is better.

Nordavind It is very repetitive. The missions are basically, go into cave – shoot enemies – your ghost starts building something or other, you must defend him from waves of enemies – good job! now leave the cave and do it again. The developers have cut a ton of content out of the game and the game literally has no story (this is not an exaggeration, there’s nothing). All in all, it was the hugest disappointment in 2014 and there is a lot of backlash online for it failing to fulfill its promises. As a console gamer, this was the first game that I have ever sold. That being said, there are people who continue to play it and enjoy it (no clue why!). Judging by your response to the trial – do not waste your money on this garbage.

PurpleCopper They probably know that player backlash would be much worse if they added PC users to their userbase.

Nordavind Sinaptic Because for the price of a new console and all the crap needed for it I can buy a few sticks of memory and a Damn nice graphics card capable of 2-5 times the graphics power of the current group of consoles.

There’s gotta be a perfectly good reason for not releasing Destiny on the PC.

Is it a money issue? Legal issue? Technological issue?

My jimmies are still slightly rustled when they made commented along time ago about how “nobody plays PC shooters anymore”.
