The Secret World’s Issue 11 content now has a release date. Lead designer Romain Amiel tweeted the news this afternoon, so mark your calendars if you’re a fan of Funcom’s horror-conspiracy MMO.

Issue 11 drops on May 6th and it’s slated to conclude the game’s Tokyo-centric story arc. It will also allow players to explore the huge Orochi headquarters in the middle of the city.

PurpleCopper It more than pays for itself.  The story is better than most single player games, let alone MMO stories.  It blows most other MMOs clear out of the water.

RooWoods Overreaction, much?  The changes are barely noticeable outside of Kingsmouth town.  They made the starter zone easier.  The sky is falling.

Estranged mourasaint It’s too bad the gameplay doesn’t live up to its stellar writing.

I suspect those people lured in with the dumbed down EPE content will be hitting the end game soon and  complaining how the game gets suddenly a lot tougher when they get to it and it wont be long before Funcom dumbs down even the latest issues to stop them rage quitting . In the end they wont please anyone in trying to please everyone . Prior to the enhanced player experience I would have said that TSW was one of the better mmos about but since it really is just very mediocre and like Warcraft its not terrible but it is a shadow of its former self . Money I would have spent on it is now going to ff14 instead .

Oh, as far as builds I should point out that those elite decks available in the game are really quite similar to some very good player created Tokyo builds. No need to copy them exactly but it is a good idea to look at them to get a feel for what sorts of builds you might want.

well… no, it doesn’t really depend where you left, because all story and quest content of TSW is excellent

PurpleCopper Yep, without a doubt.  I love it because I can support the game in a big chunk up front, and then I can not feel guilty about going months without playing, and I can then also, the longer it’s been since I’ve had the lifetime sub, justify spending some money on extra points to by extra fluff (because, uh, yeah, FLUFF!!!).  Plus, it means all DLCs are paid for with the bonus points and you get cool extras.
