Make My MMO

This week in MMO crowdfunding news, Pathfinder Online made some noise about the future of its settlements feature. Goblinworks CEO Ryan Dancey also made headlines by imploring Pathfinder fans to recruit new blood from the larger MMO community.

In other news, Star Citizen summed up its April progress with a lengthy studio report and dropped a couple of interesting persistent world info nuggets in the process. You can read the rest of this week’s crowdfunding news roundup after the break.

One thing about Pathfinder that genuinely bugs me is the fact that they’re charging a subscription for you to put up with their alpha and test it! I kickstarted the game and got three months with it, only to find out that the three months were from the point that their alpha started. I logged in to a game that was broken, very barely playable and missing most of the game’s core functions. All for the low price of $15 / month!

Damonvile Rheem Octuris Siphaed aboomwithaview  I thought about doing it just so I could take a dump on it, but then that’s giving that loser more cocaine money.

Siphaed aboomwithaview  I think he’s talking about Pantheon’s $10k pledge. Ofcourse, you get other stuff besides that. The postcard is actually just a carryover from the $120 pledge.
