Watch One Piece Online get torn apart by an angry player

Not every online game can be a winner, but even losers have their purpose as comedy fodder for the tongue-in-cheek player.

YouTube comedian TheHiveLeader took a stand against a little-known anime title called One Piece Online by treating it to a barrage of snark in a five-minute review that is probably far more entertaining than the subject game ever could be. He takes apart the game’s lackluster classes, the boring combat, and the fact that it basically plays itself. Check it out and get your laugh for the day!

At least it has One Piece behind it.  Yes, it’s the same as a few hundred other “free to play” browser games that came out just like this, only this one has a One Piece theme.  They also give away free rolls of the highest units every few days so you can end up with a great team over time without paying anything.

I’ve tried out countless games using this same exact type of engine and play.  Sadly, as bland as this game is, it actually is better than the majority of them out there that are like this.  It has more features and is slightly more generous. I’m not defending it or saying it’s great, I’m just saying compared to the other hundred or so just like it it’s up there in the top 10 of them at least.

TheHiveLeader And it was well worth it!  I had been healing in RIFT for quite a while and was getting fed up with the crap when a guildie pointed me to your video.  I was laughing so hard during the video that I had to watch it a couple more times to catch it all.  Ever since then I have been a big fan of your videos.  PLEASE keep it up!  Oh, and are you going to put your t-shirts on sale again? (or are they still available?)  My son wants one now after seeing mine. :)

ManastuUtakata  If it can even be considered an MMO.
Only anime-based MMO to even resemble a regular MMO is Dragon Ball Online, but that was pretty WoW cloney and didn’t really capture the feel of Dragonball Z (which is what everyone wanted of course) and died a pretty sad death.   But that’s what happens I guess when they try go to Korean MMO companies that are known for quick cash grab titles such as Netmarble.
Pretty sure RIFT’s failed Korean version was also run by them, lol.
