Land of Britain may be a long way off from launch, but that hasn’t stopped Potato Killer Studios for developing a spin-off online card game called Fangold matching the game’s world.
Fangold will allow players to build a deck of cards based on heroes and skills in the game. As with Hearthstone, new cards can be bought with real money, in-game currency, or crafted from the remnants of unwanted cards. The card game will feature a variety of modes such as PvE, drafts, and questing.
In fact, the studio says that the card game will not only serve as a good introduction to the MMO but be a source of revenue to fund the development of Land of Britain. Potato Killer says that a website and Kickstarter campaign for Fangold will be coming soon.

Good luck guys
It seems nice to bring a card game inside a mmo.
Besides all that Fangold it is also a part of the game.
As such, perhaps monsters, enemies, and other things will give us cards.
You can have more news?
It’s like crowdfundception
They created a crowd fund to create a game to crowd fund
Let me get this straight: They are running a kickstarter for a card game that they are building to raise money for an MMO? I just. I don’t. Okay.
Great yet another Hearthstone clone. :(
For anyone looking to pronounce THUAIDGH FUAR, it’s hoo-ig foo-er, meaning Cold (fuar) North (thuaidh). It’s Gaelic/Irish.
Everything surrounding these projects has an odor. It doesn’t pass the sniff test.
Woohoo! New card game, choo, choo!
Fan gold – well at least they’re upfront about the purpose of the game haha. Seems like there’s no shortage of really good cross-platform card games so it’ll be interesting to see if they can pull it off. At least they’re trying to work out ways to fund the game rather than just asking for cash, so good luck to them.
