Ubisoft Annecy joins the many teams working on The Division

More than you know.

You remember The Division, right? We sort of do. It was supposed to be released… eventually. Was it supposed to be now? Meh, doesn’t matter, it’s not here yet. But another team has taken on some of the duties of bringing it to life, as Ubisoft Annecy has joined Massive Entertainment, Red Storm, and Reflections in the network of studios collaborating on this one game.

Ubisoft Annecy is likely most familiar to players from Assassin’s Creed multiplayer portions, up to and including Assassin’s Creed Unity. Of course, The Division is supposed to be multiplayer by its very nature, so it’s not yet clear exactly what Annecy will be doing in the game. We’ll just have to wait and see.

davidemo89 Jack Pipsam Dragon Age: Inquisition, Peggle 2, Titanfall, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Mass Effect 3 are all great games.
Also I trust them before because Origin is vastly more stable than Uplay ever has been, they offer refund polices, customer support is decent and they haven’t brought games which are as broken as Assassins Creed: Unity and they haven’t done marketing tricks on the scale of Watch Dogs.
Also EA games don’t bug me to download an app while I am playing the game.

Jack Pipsam EA more trust? for what?
Ubisoft has relased great games like Rayman Legends, Child of light, valiant hearts. Hell, Splinter cell blacklist was a great game too if not played at easy.
And what was the last great game EA released?

Looking forward to the game, especially now that it’s coming to the PC. Not looking forward to purchase charts like this one from Watch_Dogs. You know Marketing’s already working on this before the game’s even built.

I lost all faith in Ubisoft with AC and Watchdogs, my hope The Devision will be an awesome game went down the drain after what they have done to the previous games.

They made sure i never ever preorder a game anymore and wait at least 2 months so the bugs and trash is fixed and prices are down.

With the amount of money they’re putting behind this, I can’t trust Ubisoft not to do something stupid with it in order to try and recoup the costs.
I want this to be good, but… I just can’t trust them.

Wasn’t AC:U the one with the super broken multiplayer?  (Sorry: I tried AC1 and never looked back so I have no idea.)  I really hope they aren’t the ones in charge of getting the servers up to spec…
