WRUP: This game existed, no one cared edition

This was a real game that existed.

The above screenshot is from Fantasy Earth Zero, a title that was developed by Square-Enix, launched to a resounding thud, got resurrected by another company, launched in the US and then closed a hot minute later. It had a tumultuous history is what I’m getting at here. I kind of liked it, although not enough to put it first or second or third or so forth on my list of games that I wanted to play, which kind of explains why the game closed down when it did.

The end! No moral. Just What Are You Playing, wherein we tell you what we’re going to be playing tomorrow and then you tell us what you’re going to be playing down in the comments. What does that have to do with the first paragraph? What does anything have to do with anything, dude. Just roll with it.

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I got over my grumpiness with Glyph and finally installed Trove. I love what I’ve played so far. Gaming time this weekend will be spent on my Candy Barbarian as I spew gum drops and call down ice cream bombs, although I kinda wish I’d gone with the Pirate Captain for my first non-freebie class. Seriously, the classes are awesome. Plus, they have boats. Boats.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog):I have to fly to California this weekend. Why? Because of reasons. Don’t judge me. Until then, I’m going to play some Final Fantasy XIV, even though the Poetics cap bump kind of removes the fun of capping for me. Not because there are more tomestones, because I don’t have the time to get 900 in a week. Luckily, my characters are already good to go.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): Right now I’m in the middle of a project to power level all of my Marvel Heroes characters to 25 so that I can unlock the first tier of synergies for my mains. Also, it helps me to get to know some of these characters and see if they might be worth playing in the future. Other than that, I’ll be in WildStar causing all manner of havoc against the Strain and decorating my housing plot.

Larry Everett (@Shaddoe, blog): I’ve got the leveling bug in Star Wars: The Old Republic again. 12x XP is far too appealing. Although I have a max-level Jedi Sentinel, I have yet to make a Guardian. So maybe it’s time to do that. I am going to stream with MJ again on Saturday and give away cartel packs, so that will be fun. And if you play SWTOR you don’t want to miss it.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): Since I am flying out of the country this weekend, my game time is pretty limited. What time I do have will be split between Grand Theft Auto Online and Landmark, with a little Star Wars: The Old Republic with Larry thrown in. A focus on cars and cribs, what could be better?

Tina Lauro (@purpletinabeans): This is my exam week (eek!), so I’ll be lucky if I get to do my Guild Wars 2 dailies in between all the revision I need to do. I need to revise for mechanics for Monday and computing for Wednesday. Using my computer to write the next edition of MMO Mechanics might count as revision, right? I finish on Wednesday, so I promise to catch up on some gaming then! Readers have told me I need to play TERA, so I’ll check it out after then.

Your turn!
