Hey Elite fans, did you miss Friday’s newsletter #75? If so, it’s worth reading for the news about the Mac client and the Powerplay beta. Originally the beta was scheduled for May 19th, but Frontier has delayed it, which will also delay the full release.
The Mac client is now live, and Frontier says that if you already own Elite: Dangerous, you’re entitled to a Mac copy at no extra charge. Producer Michael Brookes notes that Mac development has benefitted the PC client as well, with optimizations that work across both platforms and which will be included in the Powerplay update.
