Memorial Day weekend has brought some great deals for a variety of MMOs, including TUG, Guild Wars 2, EVE Online, World of TanksInfinite Crisis, and RIFT.

The sandbox TUG wins for deepest discount: It’s on sale for the super-low price of $.99 at the Humble Store. Although the sale is not available on Steam itself, users can participate in it by selecting a Steam key at checkout. Guild Wars 2 and EVE Online also have 50% off deals at Humble; the former is $19.99 and the latter’s Premium Starter bundle is $24.99.

World of Tanks is offering price reductions of up to 50% on vehicles, crew training, and equipment as well as special bundles. The weekend also includes an XP bonus and various special events.

Through May 25th, all Infinite Crisis champions and store costumes are unlocked for players to enjoy, and RIFT is selling its top two Nightmare Tide Collector’s Editions for 50% off through May 26th.

world of tanks always has nice holiday events and you sometimes get some really cool low-tier tanks, oddball stuff the different nations tried.

No GW2 sale outside of NA. In fact no GW2 at all on the store outside of NA.

TBPlayer2112 Esoteric Coyote ThePhantasm  Yeah ranger with bear is pretty easymode for PvE.  Mesmer is pretty easy too once you reach max level and unlock enough traits, less so at early levels.

There’s something wrong with TUG.  I love the game’s artistic design, but it basically is a voxelbox like all the others.  But it comes off as worse than many others due to the horrible optimization of the engine (yay! Dx11 only!). Sure it is in Alpha, but how long has it been in that state?    Over a year ago the game went into Early Access.    On even the best machines the game is running at most 20FPS and at average 10! That is not a good thing at all.    I’m sorry if this comes off as a bit of a rant but it is kind of bothersome.

Esoteric Coyote TBPlayer2112 ThePhantasm I agree that certain classes are easier to play than others. It took me a while to wrap my head around the Elementalist while the Ranger came to me pretty easily. But as far as trait builds go all the information is right there in the tool tips. I don’t think GW2 has a higher learning curve compared to other games. imo

ThePhantasm I also forgot to mention that if you and another player(s) kill a mob then everyone gets XP along with their own loot.

ThePhantasm GW2 is the very definition of solo friendly. You can play all the way to max level solo, and still keep playing solo in world events etc if you choose. There is no Holly Trinity or direct healing. you just play the class you like the way you want to.
