MechWarrior Online brings MechLab online with today’s patch

MechWarrior Online has had a rocky go of it lately, apparently breaking ties with former (and now defunct) publisher Infinite Games. But you can’t keep a 16-ton battle chassis down, especially when it roars back up with a major patch.

Today MWO released Phase II of its Community Warfare initiative, the team’s effort to introduce territory control and conflict to the game. In addition to that, players can enjoy the new MechLab, which streamlines the process of saving and swapping out builds for these death-dealing machines.

Phase II of Community Warfare has helped to expand MechWarrior Online’s offerings. It has added four new maps, voice-over IP, a looking-for-group tool, global faction text, and the ability to quickly transport to hot spots across the galaxy.
