Soaring through Aion’s upcoming Asmodian land of Enshar

Earlier this week, Aion’s Elyos got to check out their upcoming new zone, Cygnea. Today, the Asmodians can see their area that will be introduced in the Upheaval update coming June 17th. This new video of Enshar shows off some new creatures and more than a few breathtaking vistas. From waterfalls to bubbles to rainbows, there’s no missing the fact that this zone is all about aquatics. Take a watery tour in the clip below.

cheesybites76 Minor update: already done again, lol.  This time it only took about an hour for the game to remind me of why I uninstalled it twice before, lmao.  Beautiful graphics and music…..aaaaaaand the rest is a clunky mess!

liquid_bible Quite a lot do in NA, yes.  Major city is loaded all the time, most high-traffic areas look like they should: with plenty of others there with you.  Considering this game’s payment model is perhaps one of the best out there (in terms of f2p), this really is no surprise.  If you have the rig to load the HQ graphics, I think the game barely shows its age.

I just recently got back into Aion after a long hiatus, and partially because imho the state of MMOs right now is just not good, at least not for me.  The high-quality graphics engine is beautiful and the “welcome back” system looks pretty neat, some help with leveling and whatnot.  My highest level character is 40 but I’m more than willing to give it all another crack.  Seems to be an almost-surprising amount of activity on NA servers, good news for us Westerners I suppose, but as I have said before, Aion’s F2P model is a great one with very few rivals.
Couldn’t stick with it a few years ago but things change….although even at 40 I feel like a noob since I have never seen the level cap or endgame.  Ah well, there’s nothing else that interests me atm so I figured, why not? ^^

Koolthulu liquid_bible I asked because it got pulled from Steam so I was unsure of the health of the game after that event.

I love the game but hate open world PVP. The music is some of the best of any MMO. I wish there were a PVE server.

SoMuchMass liquid_bible Even on the EU servers, my gf made a new toon and i went to the noob area to meet her and boost/mentor her to lvl it up quick and the place was loaded.
One could ofc argue that a part of those new toons in the starter area are alts of existing players but if the game had so little apeal and a bad population why would they bother to make so many alts then.
I always feel this game gets stigmatised so much when it comes to its player population while the oposite is true. This game is raking in the $ and not because of a small amount of players with big wallets. And it still has one of the better combat systems. the feel of it is just perfectly done and if you love pvp then that + is even more significant.
If you are one who is afraid of losing to other players aka pvp then aion on the other may not be for you.

Porculasalvania liquid_bible Technically more, since it has more localized versions.
