After two years in operation on both mobile devices and the PC, Solstice Arena is calling it quits.

The so-called “speed MOBA” announced last night that it will be closing down on August 12th. “We don’t take the decision to sunset our games lightly but we made the tough decision to close Solstice Arena so our team of game makers can put their passion, energy and time into developing new games,” Zynga said.

The company is bestowing thank-you gifts in either FarmVille 2 or Empires & Allies to loyal Solstice Arena players who fill out a short form on its website.
