Trove is adding servers to keep up with demand

Trion seems pretty happy with the response to Trove thus far, calling it “unbelievable” in a post on the game’s forum over the weekend. The dev team didn’t specify how many new shards are coming online, but it said that this marks the second time since launch that additional hardware has been necessary to keep up with demand.

MorpayneRADIO You can buy gold in GW2. You can buy high level stuff with gold in GW2. Arenanet isn’t running a charity over there. Open some more Black Lion Trading Co. boxes, please?

Sythalin Replace Trion (or Trino) with every instance of a game’s release ever. This isn’t just Trion, this is the universal pattern.

Veldan I agree with you, but See: Minecraft. … Just because you don’t appreciate it, doesn’t mean there aren’t whole other markets that still find it fun and interesting. Welcome to not being the target demographic.

Esoteric Coyote Ket_Viliano Right, but still having the “beta” tag is the devs telling the playerbase that the game isn’t ready for serious consideration yet. Removing the tag gives players more confidence that their time and money will be taken more seriously.

Ket_Viliano Esoteric Coyote You didn’t have to pay at all.  You just had to download it and play.  There were no character wipes, no buy ins, no nothing.

karmamule agemyth Madda  Doing it with GW2 and TSW (both games haven’t enough retention to be my main game for more than a couple of months in a row) and it went pretty fine actually.
