If you’re still sort of confused about Civilization Online, Steparu’s latest review is probably worth reading. In a nutshell, the game is about building multiple cities. It’s a seamless world, too, as the only instancing in the title happens during the tutorial. Players are split into four factions and are tasked with helping their civilization progress through eras and claim victory via research and required buildings.
Players may choose to become a worker unit and help build cities or a military unit that captures enemy holdings and protects workers. Steparu has captured a trio of gameplay videos, two of which are focused on PvP with the third featuring PvE. You can view them after the break.
