Defiance answers player questions about promotional weapons and future updates

Back when everything was just a matter of shooting Hellbugs. What a time to be alive.

You learn a lot when you work on a game for a while. Defiance has had some time to settle into its routine, and that means that the developers have had time to re-evaluate things like what weapons players have access to. The latest question-and-answer session from the development team explains that the team originally didn’t believe players would respond positively to novelty weapons, but sentiment has shifted with the inclusion of holiday events, and more of them are actually a good thing. So expect more of those in the future.

The answers also cover matters such as ties into the ongoing story of the show, with Season 3 being rather disconnected due to various in-story factors. Fans should take a look at the full rundown for more DLC plans and an explanation behind the slightly more random drop rates for the game’s recent summer holiday event.

aboomwithaview Kaiser Sosey BriarGrey So much of this is now country dependent, but it is streaming on Hulu. Not sure what’s available without the Hulu sub, though: http://www.hulu.com/defiance
We caught up on older seasons through Amazon Prime Video.

Estranged Defiance is one of those games where I know I’ll run into other players and ad hoc some groupwork. Just how they designed their world and gameplay mechanics. Arkfalls remain some of my favorite open events.

Yes. I see this statement on MOP as often as my dog barks at squirrels in the woods behind my home. I see plenty of people during my weekly PS3 session.

Bannex19 Aliens Colonial marines and Randy Pitchford being the one of the most smug, assholish, and downright abrasive CEO known to non-MMO gamers?

Don’t there need to be other people playing in order for it to be called an mmo?

squidgod2000 hardy83 teppic Ceder Lol No. They didn’t. Which sucks because I doubt it would’ve been that hard to make them available.
