cald BalsBigBrother In sim battles you don’t get overhead markers, so bushes and grass actually do hide your tank.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdyPhdZLWmA Â this video shows you the effect of that perfectly…. and tbh I am not playing a game that looks like classic Dark Age of Camelot did in 2001… unless it’s classic Dark Age of Camelot :P
Will have to give it a look-see when they get this working.
cald BalsBigBrother its the visual aspect in that some people (who I assume are on high settings) have driven past me simply because they didn’t pick up the shape of my tank hidden in bushes. To people on low settings I am sat in the open because those very same bushes are simply not there.  Yes as you say in what is supposed to be the sim mode that is completely ludicrous
BalsBigBrother I dont think bushes or stuff like that hide your vehicle in this game.. to be hidden the object needs to be solid like a rock or something. Only then will your vehicle not be visable to the player and not show up on the map.
nice :) will be a good addition to the game. Plus we get British ground forces soon :)
BalsBigBrother That’s just terrible design. Ground cover in a game like this shouldn’t be “optional” Turn the bush into a blob of green or something if they want the settings that low but to just remove it and expose the other sides tanks. /rolleyes

Zariarn Here we go.
DPandaren BalsBigBrother If an area gives you cover then you should get cover regardless of whether people are gaming the system or not.  It completely spoils the what is otherwise the best tank sim on the market.
BalsBigBrother People will always do that though.
