The griffin: half-eagle, half-lion, and soon to be all yours. ArcheAge players will soon have the opportunity to snag one of these flying beasts for free with next month’s 2.0 update.
Trion Worlds announced that for the game’s patch and anniversary it will be giving away a free griffin to any and all who want one. The acquisition is a two-step process, however: You will initially get a 30-day mount, but if you take part in the anniversary festivities for a week, you can upgrade that to a permanent griffin.
ArcheAge 2.0 contains many improvements and features, particularly pertaining to the guild system. The game is also preparing for server merges in the near future.
