Allods Online update has werewolves and vampires living together, mass hysteria

Have the itch to get out and explore some unclaimed territory? Allods Online players will get to do just that with the advent of the Thunder of Victory update.

The patch, which is “coming soon,” will contain five new allods (zones) full of quests, traps, and enemies. There’s the termite-infested Swarm Nest, the forboding Mechanoids’ Lair, the tropical paradise of Quag Atoll, the chilly jungle of Altan Tepek, and the melting pot of Triplefield, where Elves, vampires, and werewolves live together like the craziest sitcom plot of all time.

Allods Team said that it will be featuring more reveals from the new patch next week. You can check out the Russian trailer for Update 6.0.2 after the break!

Yea, you can feel the excitement about this update.
Since GPotato was behind this long ago, I can feel nothing but a pure grudge for anything that involve this game.

ClassicCrime Silentcrypt Lol yeah, I do remember things getting a lot tougher.  Problem is I had gotten most of my friends to try it back before the patch to increase the XP and reduce the level grind and they hated it because of the grind and cash grab gimmicks of the cash shop and refuse to play it anymore.  Why I think they should add in more quests to the zones to make the leveling a bit easier for those who want to solo play.  Was a very interesting game though.

Silentcrypt ClassicCrime Ahh so you got to the place after eljune. That definitely is where the challenge starts to increase, the mobs, back when I played, started hitting like trucks right about at the end or so of that zone. Then 3 or 4 zones after that is like nightmare mode to solo lol. Much easier if you have a person to level with though

Game graphics didn’t age well even though it has a style. I really tried getting back into it but the gameplay is slow and the leveling even slower. Too bad it got killed off early and never really recovered. They should just focus on Skyforge

Does anybody know if they have a more straightforward monthly billing system for their subscription server, or is it still that crazy “pay twenty bucks for one nine dollar-a-month sub because of the stupid gem/coin conversion thing” like Gpotato ripped everyone off with?

ClassicCrime Silentcrypt I don’t really remember my exact level.  It’s been around a year or longer since I’ve played Allods.  The zone with the giant temple in the middle is the most memorable, but I vaguely recall going to another desert like zone with some sort of building in the middle protected by a barrier so maybe I was a bit higher than that and got the zone confused, it’s been a while lol.  The main reason I tried so hard to get to max level was because I really wanted to try out the ship battles.  The game was interesting, I might try it again when I’ve got the time.

Silentcrypt thats weird tho cuz where you were (asee teph) is 27-30, and the next zone, eljune, is 31-35 or something like that.
granted, soloing in that game is kind of a challenge, especially once you hit 38 or so

Always wanted to like Allods.  Played since the game first launched it’s OB, but it’s too much of a grind.  I got to, I believe, level 34 and was in a zone with some sort of giant temple in the middle and gave up.  The quests were several levels too high for me and there was no other zone to go to do quests which left me with the only option to grind mobs for XP.  Don’t get me wrong I know they released a patch a long time ago to up the XP that mobs give and made the mobs a bit weaker, but I wish they would have added more quests, especially to the zone I was stuck in.

Still a better love story than Twilight.
