TERA is revamping its starting experience

Oh dear.
[AL:TERA]After three years of operation in North America, TERA is overdue for a new starting experience. The most recent producer’s letter for the game promises precisely that in the near future, along with the first community-designed costume set and the addition of the new Brawler class to the game. A new class and a new starting experience do go together rather nicely, especially when you consider that the Brawler is a punch-oriented tank.

En Masse’s Patrick “Treeshark” Sun also acknowledges issues with dungeon loot and gold drops and promises that a fix is incoming, but it also states that the team will be waiting and letting Bluehole Studios alter drops in the Korean client before importing it. That means a longer wait for fixes, but it also means fewer inconsistencies between the North American version of the game and the Korean version along with a more streamlined overall process. Check out the full letter for more details.
