BioWare says it wanted to “reinforce the slipperiness” of Operatives and Scoundrels, so they’re getting a new ability for chasing down (or running from) targets. Snipers and Gunslingers, on the other hand, will enjoy some defensive cooldown resets that will allow selected abilities to be used twice in a row with little downtime.

Bobuster Thasrion I would have rather it be a replacement skill for Roll like they did for some of those level 57 skills.
Thasrion More mobility in PvE. They stated that this was the purpose behind the new moves at E3.
If the datamined info is correct, every class except Sniper / Gunslinger will get a new movement ability.
Gibs EO_Lonegun I believe it was in reference to the 12x XP for class story thing.  It’s going away with KOTFE but a few devs have said that it’ll be replaced with something-something.  I imagine they might offer some closed-world 100% instanced single-player option for the class stories much like how KOTFE is supposed to be.
Peregrine_Falcon Yeah, it’s getting old. Â I refuse to use more than two hotbars for combat stuff as it becomes too tedious tracking abilities after that. Â Then I have a third hotbar that’s just utility stuff like transports, vehicles, QT, a pet or two, class buff(s), et cetera.
I’d prefer they pare down the abilities but give some customization even if it’s nothing more than something like Mass Effect 2/3’s power “evolution.” Â I’d way rather have that.
ColdinT If you are playing a Scoundrel / Operative correctly, their slipperiness is their defense. Roll to avoid big hits as concelment/heals, or roll heal as lethality. CC, run away, harass. The best operative knows when to run away and los, etc. We aren’t meant to bang around like juggs.

Gibs the text you quated is about giving more story to classes. Chapter 4 (omicron ) and 5 (zion ) where lacking imho and many others.
Peregrine_Falcon I completely agree. The abilities bloat is getting to be a bit much. I did however like that some of the lv57 abilities were replacements for other skills that were put on the same CD. I mean, if you can’t play your character with 11 to 12 hot keys whats the point. As it stands now I have 22 hot keys mapped and they are giving me even more now? /facepalm
Janio2Â thanks for the info.
