Here’s how Bless looks in its last beta test

Steparu’s still playing through Bless‘ final Korean beta test. He outlines the game’s playable classes or jobs (Guardian, Berserker, Paladin, Ranger, Assassin, and Mage, with Warlock and Mystic slated for later). He also notes that some jobs are restricted based on your faction choice.

The skill system “isn’t overly complicated,” Steparu writes, noting that it’s pretty hard to mess up a build. You can also change your skill loadout, even inside of dungeon instances. As per usual he includes a few gameplay videos, so click past the cut if you’d like to see how Bless is shaping up in Korea at the moment.

Loopstah I agree. Bless, Black Desert, and even FFXIV 1.0 are proof that visuals aren’t a limitation anymore. If anything, I think developers do it to attract a larger audience because of the hardware requirement. I mean, I’m sure many more people can run, say, Wildstar than Bless. That said, I think if there were enough quality games out there people would be willing to pony up a little for a GPU that can run something like this on low. I don’t exactly have a monster myself but when Black Desert released, assuming I like it, I am going to upgrade my GPU for it.

Yesterday, as i work up my sorc to the new level cap.

They have quite similar body builds, the female mostly, since the male version doesn’t exist in Tera. The clothing for the Mascu isn’t really out there yet, so we don’t know if it’s all covered up well or has like more skin. The torso and legs (though thighs are a bit smaller) look almost exactly like the models for Elin though, at least from that preview.

Zariarn usagizero yeah, something i will never say about Tera is the questing is good. Though i pretty much play it as a Monster Hunter style MMO. Which i feel it shines at. Trying to solo the various BAMs can be quite fun and challenging.

Loopstah I don’t, reasons? People complained that Tibes Ascend didn’t support more players when Tribes 2 could suppot 256 players on a sever over 56k.

“The girl on the right looks a lot like the Elin from Tera to me.”
I’m sorry, when was the last time you saw an Elin from Tera?
There are literally only two things this race has in common with Elin: They’re both shortAnd cute
Otherwise, they don’t have the bizarre sexualization with the oversized hips & thighs, they’re not a monosex race, they’re clearly more bestial/animal-like than the Elin ever are, nor do they have the excessive skin exposure (with short skirts and panty shots galore – almost every single outfit is designed for panty shots, with the only notable exception of leather armors for some reason),
Included is an illustration of typical Elin for your reference. Not pictured: the huge amount of butt shots you get due to their running animation in-game.
Meanwhile, the only glimpse we’ve had of the Mascu shows them fully covered (and in full-body fur, at that). Pretty big difference, I’d say.

Please, tell me again how MMOs have to look like crap because of networking limitations and other 2005-era excuses. This game looks gorgeous and is proof that MMO players don’t have to settle for sub-par visuals comparing to single player games.
