Leaderboard: Synth vs. orchestra for space MMOs

Earlier this week we got a taste of Pedro Camacho’s orchestral score for Star Citizen. I loved it, but I’ve also been putting together my own personal Star Citizen playlist over the past couple of years. As I look at it, it’s heavy on electronic music similar to EVE Online’s soundtrack, with a few random orchestral tracks scattered in for flavoring. There’s also this original fan-produced Star Citizen album that’s pretty great in its own right.

For today’s Leaderboard, then, let’s pit orchestral scores against electronic music in a winner-take-all match to see which reigns supreme when it comes to space MMO soundtracks. Vote after the cut!

Leaderboard: Synth vs. orchestra for space MMO soundtracks

  • Electronic (15%, 36 Votes)
  • Orchestra (32%, 78 Votes)
  • Both (49%, 117 Votes)
  • Neither (4%, 10 Votes)
