Skyforge offers players tips for using Orders

You gave me power in your god's name, which is my name, because I am your god.

It’s important to remember that when you play Skyforge, you are a deity. That doesn’t just mean that you’re as powerful as a deity; that means you actually get all of the power of worship added to your own power. The latest set of tips on the official site explains to new players (and veteran players unclear on the system) just what can be derived from religious orders based around their characters.

Each province under your protection can have a chapel, and it’s important to assign a patron to each province so you can found a chapel and start reaping the benefits of worship. You want to make sure that the best of your followers are serving as your representatives at your various temples while upgrading your temples to their highest possible quality. Check out all of the tips to make sure you’re getting the most out of the mechanics; being a deity seems to be pretty awesome here.

On dual chapels:
“Be mindful that an Optimizer can only be used for one selected province, you will not be able to change your mind later. Pick the province to improve carefully! All other restrictions (chapel quality and patron talent) remain in force.”
Oof… That’s going to be a tough choice to make, but I can’t see I didn’t see this coming due to its implementation. :/
I guess I’ll just roll with Dawn Plateau, then. That way my offensive builds can benefit from both the Critical Chance and Accuracy chapels, while my Knight build can switch to Endurance and Block. I guess the second province would be Symerlis, more Critical Chance for offense, Shield Power and Block for Knight.

Pashgan Dunno. They likely abandoned it because prestige and actual character performance are miles apart. Consider that you can ram up your prestige to high heaven by wallet warrior-ing sacred texts, this in turn actually end up gimping you as you still have beginner classes with basically zero skills but mobs that hit like runaway freight trains.

Then again, they seem to have done all kinds of stupid stuff with the difficulty scaling (ranged mobs that can drop you in 6 hits or less, coming in clusters of 6+, the opening barrage alone will be lethal).

Frankly i am starting to think the paladin symbol is a bandaid, or they assume everyone will go for it so they may well balance everything around it being always in use.

Either way things are fucked up, and piling faster prestige will not help as it does not unlock much of anything except more pain and suffering.

i think orders are a nice idea in skyforge – like the rest its not executed exactly to my taste, still good. To tweak your stats outside the usual gear is refreshing.

IndigoSalma I haven’t played for about 3 or 4 weeks for some reason. Hit my spark cap and didn’t feel like leveling my orders: holy texts, Okki tablets, rings, etc. Just never logged back in.

It’s a fun game, but somehow that spark cap kind of breaks my sense of progress.

I don’t really know why I’m not logging in. I don’t have a complaint about the game, even the caps. I just don’t feel a pull.

In the beta followers contributed to player’s prestige directly (i.e. 1000 followers added 1000 prestige). I suspect sooner or later devs will return to this scheme so I’m leveling orders even though there is no point to do so past couple months (level 19 temples).
