Elder Scrolls Online patches in fixes, introduces Forge-Mother Alga

Elder Scrolls Online has been busy patching all three versions of its game this past week. A small PC and Mac patch fixed a few issues with the Imperial City and Coldharbour, while a much larger PlayStation 4 and Xbox One patch shored the game up on those consoles (including revealing “invisible guild store prices”).

Players looking ahead to the Orsinium DLC can meet one of the update’s major figures in a dev diary: Forge-Mother Alga. Alga is King Kurog’s mother and a generally wise and respected figure in the court.

Orisinium is coming on November 2nd to PC and Mac, Xbox One on November 17th, and PlayStation 4 on November 18th.

Good-ish news. Data miners have found evidence that there may be a combo pack of Orisinium and Imperial City in the future. I’ll probably sub for a month and just buy the DLC if I absolutely love it (what I did for IC, which I enjoyed briefly but sadly did not absolutely love).
As for the LFG tool, they’re making it cross-faction so it has a bigger population to draw from. I’m dubious that this will be more than a bandaid fix, but it’s better than nothing.

Hmm… Didn’t realize this patch was actually news worthy. For PC players it did little, but I guess the focus was on consoles.

The game has come a long ways (bug wise), but unfortunately Orsinium being single player focused does nothing to win back the multitude of MMO players that have left.

This game sure is a ‘love/hate’ proposition for me, but it does draw me back.

Probably will get the Orsinium pack (didn’t get Imperial City) so that I can give the solo dungeons a try since a lot of the grouping is still bad by the LFG tool. Hate having to depend on filtering through their chat system to get one.
We’ll see how their stated improvements to it shake out before I reward them with a steady sub.

Silverbourne Happened to me, too. The worst part is that this makes it impossible to install it on my secondary SSD again. I would have to delete everything on it, then install ESO, then reinstall everything else. Why? The installation of ESO needs more than twice the size than the actual folder after the installation.

Maybe next year again, I’m fully loaded with games atm anyway.

Good. I love the game but it sure is buggy. Fortunately, most of the bugs that I encounter are of the amusing rather than frustrating kind.

To whom it may concern…
This patch especially the guild store and guild bank fixes should have been hot fixes that was done asap as they pretty much rendered both services almost completely useless. I’ve played a few mmos and they would have hotfixed these problems. It costed a huge amount of in game gold to buy guild store vendors and yet couldn’t really be used… Still live the game just hate how they can’t hot fix major problems within a reasonably amount of time…
