staticlove666 ensvne Actually it’s called an alpha. You calling it a demo only shows your own failings.

vicariousfan melissaheather well the few times I’ve logged in there hasn’t been anyone to meet or hang out with, so I guess that’s still pending?  They introduced some phase of it in last couple weeks, but nobody to talk to

Union Jack you’re assuming that success in this venture means every game can raise that kind of money. In fact, SC has dwarfed all other crowdfunded games combined, and several very interesting products have simply failed to fund at all during the time it’s been around. We’ll never know how many of those might have funded if the interested parties hadn’t spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on SC ships.

Be careful what you wish for; if the bar is raised too high, some people will stop trying to jump over it at all.

staticlove666 TheDonDude well except for the dog fighting module…   Question when someone leaves the room you are in do you think they are gone for ever?

Not sure if this works yet, but SC really needs something where those million people can gather.    A space station on the order of those seen in Star Trek Online, at the very least.   One where you can invite a guest into your instanced hangar and they can admire your ship, or climb aboard.   I sure hope SC understands that real-time boarding, traveling, etc., with your friends is essential.   We don’t need another “POTBS” in space where nobody can board another’s ship or crew or group with them.
But rather than a message board and web site, it’d be nice if SC had a good hub or starbase for people to log in and chat about the game in our game avatars, order faux drinks from the bartender, dance a bit, chat, and feel like we are there.
