Trove explains its new player marketplace

I am the most expensive player.

You – yes, you – are the most perfectly creative player in Trove. You know it, your friends know it, and your enemies pretend they don’t know it but they do. So you can make use of the new player marketplace to sell your unneeded junk to other players, make like four million dollars, and kick back to an island of luxury while being totally rad to the max every day. At least, you could if you could pay for everything in the world with in-game Trove currency.

Joking aside, the marketplace sports a number of useful features, like allowing you to charge a variety of different currencies for your creation. There’s no bidding, no need for individual direct sales, just pure and unfettered capitalism. In a world of neon dragons and classes named after candy. Video games, you know?

We’ve amended this post: You cannot sell your own creations, only other items, and you cannot use cash shop currency. H/t Mind Flayer.

sold 250,000 Flux worth of items in my first hour online after the patch :)

People are paying me 3x more for certain items than they paid before the marketplace was available, got me scratching my head while counting my MegaFlux Tanks (95) lol.

I’d actually been avoid Trove as I had a lengthy Faerie Dust grind ahead of me to create a personal Sky Realm portal.  This morning, I logged on, saw the note about the new player marketplace, went there, bought the faeries dust with flux, and built the portal.  Yay!  On the flip side, I wonder how many people are just going to grind whatever will make the most flux, and build what they want by buying components on the marketplace.  The game would become boring very quickly if that become the norm.

Uh…  Please Redo this Post.
So much misinformation.
*Facepalm*
Alright, for starters, you CANNOT sell your creations, just mounts, items, pets, etc.
Second, you CANNOT use cash shop currency.
At least read the freaking link you put in the article…
Who do I report this article to so it can have actual factual information?

I like the marketplace, but it needs more sort options, like a price per unit sort function.  Right now it sorts lowest price to highest, so if someone is selling 1 dragon coin for 1.5k flux, but someone else is selling a stack of 10 for 10k flux (1K ) each, the 1.5k coin will be on the first page.

They also need to try and solve the problem of not being able to take out the flux you have from sales if you dont have enough inventory space.  Right now you can only take out the full amount all at once from a sale, and if you dont have enough inventory space, you cant take any out.

It would be nice if there was an option to take flux out as the new canisters if it was a very high amount.
