- Forsaken World Mobile: Babel Ascending is on the way, a content update that includes a 100-floor tower, three world bosses, and an in-game marriage system.
- War Thunder: A pair of small patches hit the game this week, one for tweaks to jet boosters and another one adding Steam controller support.

Events and Contests
- RuneScape: An invasion of Falador is underway and players are invited to participate — and while they’re there, to check out the graphical rework of the town. [Thanks to Tylere for the tip!]
- Firefall: The scifi game’s Halloween event is here, with two world encounters for players to discover and conquer. Masks, pets, and decals are at stake here!
- Dark Age of Camelot: Chapter 8 of the Otherworlds campaign is upon us, with only two more to go before it all concludes.
- Path of Exile: From November 2nd through December 7th, Path of Exile will be hosting “experimental” Darkshrine events in both standard and hardcore modes.
- World of Warcraft: Carve pumpkins. Take pictures. Win stuffs.
- Skyforge: Think scary. Make movie. Win stuffs.
Odds and Ends
- Destiny: Curious about the making of this game? Then read up on this fascinating “messy” story of how Destiny came about, including a complete re-do in the middle of development.
- League of Legends: If players have an offensive name, Riot now gives players an optional psych test as part of the process of selecting a new name. So when’s the last time you teased someone to make them angry?
- Wargaming: The World of Tanks developer announced that it’s created a new division called WG Cells that will solely focus on making mobile titles.
- Guild Wars 2: A Twitch streamer was joined by lead developer Colin Johanson, but the streamer banned him thinking that Colin was an imposter. Whoops.
- Aion: NCsoft has been teasing its fans regarding a major announcement that’s coming on November 11th. What could it be? This piece of artwork (above) might contain a clue.
- Phantasy Star Online 2: No one reads EULAs, but maybe you should make an exception in PSO2’s case. There’s a section that asks players not to use the game as part of manufacturing and using weapons of mass destruction.

How cool is it that Dungeons & Dragons author R.A. Salvatore is collaborating with Neverwinter? So cool. In the following interview, Salvatore talks with the dev team about his work on the game.
Albion Online revealed one of its most evil creations, the demon prince, in a new video preview. You just know you’re going to smack his butt down.
Steparu shared a great new video overview of Dragon’s Dogma Online’s Elemental Archer class. Pew pew for the win!
Speaking of games you’ve never heard of, why not check out Gunslinger Stratos, also courtesy of Steparu!
Er, that Destiny article was a nice effort, but I think everyone had already figured out that Destiny’s story–what little of it there’s been since launch–got gutted at some point. (The minute you first spawn in the game, Ghost says, “You’ve been dead a long time,” and if you’re a human or Awoken and not the Exo whose sole land this zone originally was, you think, “Ewwwww! Gross!” and right away know that something feels off. Then it all goes downhill from there.)
ManastuUtakata ” I really dig the outfits and the characters.”

Same. the costumes/outfits are the bomb lol.
Gunslinger Stratos looks like a hyper version of City of Heroes…only with spell slingers. Either way though, I really dig the outfits and the characters. Not sure I want to play it…as it appears to have more PvP than you can lob at RvR conference in concept. :(
So according to @vicariousfan and @Vagrent Zero, if you have the name Hellbound Heart, your an alt or hacker. I feel sorry for anyone who loves the novella by Clive Barker Hellbound Heart : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hellbound_Heart so be warned, if your a Clive Barker fan he will hack you and attack you. Also don’t talk to him about Final Fantasy. They hate it. Like really bad. Post the trolls when I can, that’s what I do. You’ll notice several users question these two people as well. Be warned.
even Taken King doesn’t seriously make me care about Destiny’s world, I think in part because Oryx was just so thoroughly cackling-villainy. you can do lighthearted heroism and cosmic horror light at the same time, y’know. you don’t have to make such goofy, human foes.
I guess we’ll see what Destiny 2 holds.
I have enjoyed the game, but I do understand the inconsistent flow of the narrative now. LOL
So, I have this ability to fill in gaps with my own imagination. Helps me deal. LOL
@Estranged
Oh, it definitely is an interesting read, don’t get me wrong, but a lot of people who play Destiny could tell things were torn up and stitched together. Even my friend, who could care less about a story in any game, had said it sounded Frankenstein during our first play through.
It also was in the news earlier in a sort when Bungies composer won his lawsuit against them, because part of the documents released with the trial to the public was also a mentioning of the rushed hack job mentioned in this article as well.
As for the other side of the story, editing the story is one thing… But this was like tossing a guy into a whole heard of zombies, then deciding to try and stitch the left overs back together as if it was all good. And Bungie has had since the first week of September to address this–to which they haven’t.
I couldnt imagine taking a psych test for a Chinese run video game company and being okay with it. Â I’m wondering if LoL just isn’t some grand psych test on everyone at this point.
BalsBigBrother he is like a real life Ali G.
If I could make a small suggestion (even though it typically isn’t MoP’s thing): Â could one of you guys review the Steam controller if you are picking one up? Â I’d love a write up if you feel it would be a good article. Â I do. Â Maybe as part of this column.
