The Crew: Wild Run launches today

Uh-uh, you can't tell me nothing.

Ready to run wild? That’s kind of the deal behind the first big expansion for The Crew: Wild Run, which is bringing new cars, new races, four new vehicle types, and all sorts of offroad antics. And it’s available right now if you can’t wait to start hopping your car over the nearest vaguely ramp-shaped object.

Players can hit insane top speeds in dragsters, spin and cut corners in drift cars, carefully weave through traffic on motorcycles, or just crush everything with monster trucks. All of this comes together at the Summit, a collection of new off-road races that forms a major in-game event across the United States. Check out just below for a trailer and some screenshots, and start running wild today. Driving wild, really, but “Wild Drive” doesn’t have the same connotations. If you’ve never tried The Crew, you can also see what was said about the game at its core before all of that wildness.

I play with the keyboard and it seems steering became horrible once Wild Run was released (I don’t own the expansion but everybody gets some of the changes like the graphics overhaul).  I’ve messed with settings and I can’t seem to stop my car from careening all over the road.  Really annoying.  I don’t really want to play with a controller, but maybe that’s the only realistic option now?

It’s a shame Season Pass do not cover expansion. Damn cash grab. But I might be pick Wild Run on next sale since The Crew is great game.

Greaterdivinity No one discounts like Ubi.  I would expect this one to be on sale hard for the Xmas sale.  They might also tie in a French solidarity thing/sale soon.

Still waiting on a deep sale for the base game. Haven’t played a racing game in years (I think GT3 was the last one I actually played) but the premise of this game continues to mildly intrigue me, when it’s on sale for $5-10 maybe I’ll pick it up.

If they haven’t played it they could just do the free trial Eliot http://thecrew-game.ubi.com/portal/en-US/newslist/details.aspx?c=tcm:152-195692-16&ct=tcm:148-76770-32
