Today’s Secret World dev stream may not have delved deeply into details, but it did tease some upcoming content players can look forward to. Issue #13 is bringing a brand-new, self-contained story like Issues #5, 6, and 7; set in Kaidan, it introduces a new NPC and fleshes out other familiar faces in the city. Coming alongside Issue #13 — but not in it — are a string of PvP updates. Not only are El Dorado and Stonehenge getting some love and new rewards, but an entirely new PvP minigame was teased. Soon players will be able to duke it out on the snowy slopes of Shambala.
Also revealed on the stream were the new Lucky Bags, called Professional’s Satchel. Going live next week, these contain the chance for nurse, policeman, and fireman outfits as well as a police motorcycle and a police or fire dog. If that motorcycle isn’t your thing, some current sprints are getting updated by adding custom jumps. Or you might be interested in the upcoming new holiday event bags which will feature a brand new mount type. And speaking of the holiday events, there won’t be any new missions for Christmas 2015 as the team is focused on getting Issue #13 completed. All previous events, however, will return.
At the closing of the stream, all players were invited to come to the test live server to help test the dungeon finders with devs; folks who end up on a dev team will get a special, exclusive T-Shirt reward. Check out the reward, some of the new outfits, and the concept for the new PvP zone in the images below.
