WRUP: On the shininess of skin edition

Shine shine.

Let’s cover something that I would think is… kind of obvious. Skin is not, by default, shiny. It is not reflective. It does not reflect light like, say, glass or metal. If your skin is reflective, that probably means you have smeared something on your skin, like water or oil or something else. You probably should not do that on a regular basis. Normal human beings do not look like that, as you should be well aware due to your longstanding habit of having skin.

I am enjoying Blade & Soul, but some of its choices with character design are exceedingly ridiculous, that is the joke.

You know what’s no joke? That stupid Wu-Tang Clan album thing. Also, What Are You Playing. You can let us know what you’re playing down in the comments down below, we’ll let you know above the comments but after this introduction. The usual thing. And you can enjoy your human skin, I suppose.

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Guild Wars 2, mostly likely, though I’ve been hankering to get back into Marvel Heroes again. No! Devilian. I need to play Devilian. Too many games.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): I’ve got some Blade & Soul beta to play; so far I’m greatly enjoying it, now that it’s no longer in a very controlled environment. Beyond that, it’s the usual assortment of Final Fantasy XIV and World of Warcraft with perhaps a spot of Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): With Christmas events springing up all over the place, I’m beside myself trying to keep up. That means I’ll probably be running expeditions in WildStar for the ship chase and doing some Fae Yule instant adventures in RIFT for the most part. I’m waffling back and forth between Devilian and Path of Exile for an action-RPG, and I should probably check out Blade & Soul‘s beta too.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): I have a major quest I’ll be focused on this weekend that entails making sure I don’t end up in any more taxis with impaired drivers. Besides that, I will be going digital screenshot happy in this new zone, Vancouver. I’ll also be doing a bit of MechWarrior Online checking out new upcoming stuff, then chilling in Lord of the Rings Online and ARK: Survival Evolved. Oh, and probably going for daily log-ins in ArcheAge.

Patreon donor Thatchefdude: I’m back into FFXIV this week, starting to get my healing classes towards max level and practice healing in harder dungeons. I’m also finishing up the last remnants of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate and working on the last few missions of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I’d like to pick Fallout 4 back up, but I have to finish those two first; too many games right now! Also probably a bit of Super Mario Maker with my wife, she’s bringing me back to casual land…

Patreon donor Pierre: I’m relieved this week-end as a very busy period at work is ending and I will have more time for gaming. Yeah!! I’ll play The Elder Scrolls Online; I really enjoy this game, especially the questing and the exploration feel are very well done. As long as you don’t expect it to be exactly like Skyrim, I think it’s really worth the try, especially with the ongoing free week-end when everyone can try the game. I’m enjoying Fallout 4 a lot too. And I made a mistake: I bought Xenoblade Chronicles X, critical mistake for my social life ;-). I’ll let you know about this RPG as I just got it yesterday and didn’t have time to play yet. Enjoy your week-end MOP readers.

Your turn!
