Titan Siege starts beta testing tomorrow

For some PvP players, there is nothing quite like the struggle of a truly epic siege. Appealing to players who like a good army vs. fortified castle situation is the upcoming Titan Siege, developed by Chengdu Storm Totem Studio.

Titan Siege is set against the backdrop of a world ravaged by two factions of the titular titans and weaves together mythology from Europe, Greece, and Egypt. Fortunately, now players are able to fight back against the titans, although there’s always time to take a break and engage in some pet battles and crafting. The main attraction of siege battles can feature up to 2,000 players and 10 different types of siege engines.

Beta testing for Titan Siege begins tomorrow, and interested parties can mosey on over to the website to sign up for a possible key.

Quincha A few Asian MMOs have pushed the limits of CCU in a single zone quite far in the last five years, though the most I’ve heard of is 1,000 players participating in the same event.

This also looks graphically dated, so it is possible they can push that a lot further by keeping the visuals down to 2005 levels.

There is hardly any info on the game and finding info on any of the developers, holding companies, etc is fruitless.  I wouldnt put a used password in that one.

This market is way over-saturated currently and more of them are still in production.  Its going to be a ragnorak of these games closing up shop within a year or two.

I’d like to see how this actually works in a game. Normally this type of concept sounds great but is terrible when actually implemented because players are really just a mob and servers can’t take the load.

Will this be any different ?
