“You one of those guy’s that thinks what you want is more important than what other people want?”

No, not at all. It’s the game creator who doesn’t want chat in game (at the moment), not me. I’m just saying to those who want to chat: adapt to reality and use 3rd party tools instead.

McSleaz Vikingr The problem is that the guys who made it said no. They don’t want it because they want a certain feel. That’s really the only problem that matters

Vikingr But it’s fair to with hold it from everyone because some people don’t want it?

You one of those guy’s that thinks what you want is more important than what other people want?

Make an option to TURN OFF the chat……problem solved and everyone is happy, wheres the problem?

Armsbend BigJohnny1982  Depends on the party – you can fit more in when none of them are wearing clothes.

Cotic_OP LordOfBread BigJohnny1982  The KS numbers are
ED: 25,681 backers pledged £1,578,316 to help bring this project to life.
SC: 34,397 backers pledged $2,134,374 to help bring this project to life.

So ED had a slightly larger Kickstarter than SC.

Damonvile McSleaz Cotic_OP  “I’m not sure the majority of people play mmos to play with other people is true at all anymore” Yep. I remember Gafney using 60-65% play solo.

McSleaz Cotic_OP I’m not sure the majority of people play mmos to play with other people is true at all anymore but I am sure the majority don’t want to talk to or read what everyone in the game has to say all the time.

The problem with general chants is it always degenerates into the lowest common denominator rules. By not having it the game loses it’s appeal to people who need that type of thing to have fun.

What’s wrong with 3rd party chat solutions? If you want chat then why not use that? It seems unfair to force global chat on everybody because some players want it.

An area broadcast channel would be nice.
