Nexon to take over TERA operations in Korea

There’s a changing of the guard for TERA in South Korea this month, as the title is changing up publishers.

Bluehole Studio announced yesterday that Nexon will be taking over publishing duties following Hangame’s decision to drop the title. This change will require a transfer from the current server to Nexon’s own shard and will take place in January.

To calm any apprehensions about the changeover, Nexon is giving TERA players themed costumes and mounts from Crazy Kart. The publisher also teased a new type (or class) of Elin. Check out the new publisher’s announcement teaser below to get hyped about the switchover.

StevenWilliams3 Definitely two different things because there are female barbarians. Amazon is a female only culture who went great lengths to keep it that way in mythology. Barbarian’s are savages and were uncivilized warriors in history who traveling in roving bands as they saw fit.

I love how people who think that a game that is solely developed for korean culture and audience when it’s brought to the west they are going to jump through hoops to satisfy you. The game could have never come here and we would continue not knowing a thing about TERA.

All of the new classes in TERA are the way they are for Lore reasons. Think of it the same way there isn’t a single male Amazon ever

Funny how the two brief scenes with BAMs in them demonstrate the FPS issues in this game.

Look at the articles here for any game that was under Hangame and not a single mention of why the publisher was letting go and sometimes not even a mention of the publisher themselves and the thrashing in the article comment on it.
I’m not saying you were thrashing, just the comments in general in those articles where ASTA, archlord 2 etc announced for shutdown or lost of publisher
