Black desert, yellowish beach, SAME DIFF.

The testing for Black Desert has only just begun over on western shores, but players in its native Korea have been enjoying the game for some time now. Another update has recently landed which adds the second half of the Valencia region, highlighted in a new trailer just below. There are rocks, there is ground, there’s atmosphere – all of the fun stuff. Also new towns, settlements, cliffs, trees, and open-world dungeons, if you find that somehow more interesting than staring at the ground.

Players can also take part in the game’s new bounty system, which encourages players to hunt down player killers and bring them to justice. Or to be the people in need of justice-bringing. No word on when these patches will be crossing the ocean, but the game hasn’t even launched here; give it a little time.
