Either die or don't.

If you’re still waiting for Phantasy Star Online 2 to be released in North America, today’s news isn’t going to do much to help matters. There’s still no word on when or if the title will be localized. But there is a new platform for the game to be released upon, as the title is being ported to the PlayStation 4. The closed beta is slated for the second half of February.

The game is also adding a new playable class in the form of the Summoner once the game’s next major patch lands on January 27th. Players will also be able to take on a brand new planet: Earth in the year 2028. Japanese players will be able to enjoy all of this next year, while North American players will simply have to wait and hope.
