Maybe that's the horrible, fundamental blade that sits at the heart of every nudge forward. That if you're forced to really ask yourself for honesty, you realize that love is just a word you use to justify doing hard work for someone who never thanks you in a way you find meaningful or satisfying.

A few weeks ago, we asked you to vote on the best new MMO of 2015. Some of you were outraged at the inclusion of non-MMORPG MMO games on the list, and then you proceeded to define every single game out of eligibility, including the ones that really do meet traditional MMORPG criteria, never mind MMO criteria.

I get it. I’m grumpy about the genre too.

Regardless, we thought we’d pare it down even more. Let’s pick just the best new Not So Massively game of 2015.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate has the most amazing city I’ve ever played in (their depiction of London).  I wish MMOs had such populations, that dynamically respond to you in so many interesting ways.
Just an example… the city is full of people milling around, and they have their own conversations as they walk by, etc., but they also respond to you.  I was playing as Evie and went into stealth mode to carry out an assassination of a courier who was up on a patio not far from me talking to some chaps.   A married couple walked by and i heard them comment as I put on my hood and crouched by the stairs, “Well, that’s not odd at all, is it? (sarcasm)”  “perhaps she’s a circus performer, or it’s a prank,”
And then when I killed the courier, there was panic.  Running, screaming.  People reacted as they would have in real life.  Some shouted “Murder! There’s been a murder!”  Some called for the police.  One said, “Don’t let that woman get away!” Some cringed at me as I ran past to escape the scene, fearful that I would hurt them next.
it was most remarkable.  Spock would have declared it positively fascinating.

Yeah sorry about that. I was one of those people complaining that ark was on that poll.

I missed the poll but I’m going with Ark.
That one just came out of left field with some awesome survival gameplay.

Looking forward to seeing where they take the game and hoping they add more PVE.

Gnomeland Security Rocket League has to be the most over rated game of the year.  Soccer with cars which has been done many times before.
