SWTOR runs January events to make up for December’s problems

Sometimes you even get some cool stuff!
There were a lot of events planned for Star Wars: The Old Republic in December. Sure, they were the game’s usual repeating events, but there were still a lot of them. Unfortunately, due to various unexpected problems, the events failed to trigger correctly and players missed out on some of those events, with the Rakghoul Resurgence being the most notable omission. As such, January’s event schedule has been updated and expanded in the hopes that everyone can get some time in with these events before they head off once again.

The current schedule has the Relics of the Gree event starting tomorrow and running through the 19th, with the Rakghoul Resurgence running from the 19th through the 26th, followed by the Bounty Contract event from the 26th to February 2nd. That’s a full week of events with rewards, reputations, and some third thing that starts with the letter “R.” If there’s more stuff you want to accomplish in any of those regular events, start planning for the rest of the month.

Umm..no, this is not making up for anything, this is how these events were supposed to happen. They explained it with the release of kotfe that due to how these events are now tied to kotfe storyline they will be returning every month. Due to some bug they could not do it in december and now events did not initiate in january, thus they are fixing bug with patch and rearranging the event schedule accordingly.

Bannex19 Sadly I have to agree. Now even the prequels look like classics, because Disney added absolutely nothing, just did a fan service mashup of what was already in the 1977 movie, slapped some feminism on it and at the same time portrays a black guy as a complete coward anti-hero Jar Jar Binks. Wonder what they smoked when they wrote this. And don´t get me started on Death Star III, I don´t even….

I haven’t been keeping up with SWTOR lately because of all the pre Force Awakens hype. This seems to be a colossally bad time to have troubles with recurring seasonal events.

As far as the new movie goes its Disney & JJ Abrams. The result, boilerplate fan fiction with great special effects. What else was anyone expecting?

Wtf is temo? Nothing can beat young gene simmons tearing up his room because he’s inexplicably mad at dad.
Lucas made one bad character out of how many? Finn was basically a black white guy. Rey was the master of everything and knows light sabers better than anybody without a mentor, kylo belonged on team Edward. Marvel made 3 horrible binks level characters.
Chewbacca showed more emotion than anybody and he was a lucas character just saying…

Greaterdivinity vicariousfan Founder here and, no.  No Origin just in case that wasn’t clear. lol.  The game didn’t turn into an EA property until almost launch so they couldn’t get it tied in to Origin.  Thank god.

Even now, it still isn’t tied in.

Like Harrison Ford, I am now simply too old for star wars.
It used to be that I couldn’t get enough of the star wars universe but I actually enjoyed the extended stuff more than the movies. Force Awakens was one of the worst reboots I’ve ever endured and I’m embarrassed that I’m part of the statistic that keeps breaking records.
Lucas was better. Lucas was right.
