World of Warcraft fans shouldn’t worry too much that the upcoming movie will be devoid of cheeky references to their favorite game. Director Duncan Jones posted a picture of a hero’s call board from the set that contains several in-game references, including those for Hogger, Darkmoon Faire, and Brewfest. He challenged fans to spot all of those call-outs and more.
Speaking of the movie, a new TV spot is out with a few new shots that weren’t seen in the previous trailer. Check it out and sound off: How high is your excitement level for this major motion picture release? The Warcraft movie comes out on June 10th.

neserbohy It will mostly likely be worked on until May than be sent out to threatres.
The TV spot – so, is this still placeholder scenes, or is it final? Some of the scenes look rather unfinished. Flat. Weird lighting.
captainzor I remember entire guild like that, it was named  “Swimming in Moonwells” or so ;)
The movie will probably be more appreciated by non-Warcraft players. This is assuming that it’s well made of course. WoW is still in decline, so the buzz for this movie is rather low. If Blizzard had gotten off their butts sooner and released the movie around Wrath, the hype would be higher.
I’ll probably go see it, just not opening day and at a matinee later after I read reviews.
It looks worse than the old Warcraft Cinematics
I understand that. My apologies. That was more a rhetorical from me. They should have done it in house if this was the result of someone else.
captainzor OMG! Maybe this is why they have not rebuilt Stormwind park.
TJFrenchJr Perhaps because the cut scenes are made by Blizzard and the movie was not made by Blizzard?
As a non wow player I can’t wait to see it. As someone who hasn’t saw a movie in a theater since Jurassic park 2 I definitely will see this one at the theaters!
TJFrenchJr Yep, I definitely was more impressed by the Legion cinematic. Â There’s no compelling reason why this movie had to be live action. Â All they have probably done is to set expectations far beyond reason while attempting to capture a wider audience.
