Happy first patch to you, game.

The great part about games that were localized after being out in their native country for some time is that there’s no dearth of material for patches. Blade & Soul just launched here in North America last week, but players can look forward to the game’s first major patch landing on February 10th with a nice pile of additional endgame content.

The Rising Waters patch adds the Blackshade Harbor as a new Heroic dungeon for four or six party members, with Nightshade Harbor serving as a 24-player version of the same instance. Players can also explore Mushin’s Tower as a solo Heroic dungeon, providing ever-greater challenges for players who make it to the heights of the tower (the limit with this patch will be the seventh floor). Further Hongmoon levels will allow advancement past the level cap, and players will also be able to get in on the first PvP preseason. Sure, it’s a couple of weeks away, but if you’ve already consumed all that the game can offer you at endgame for the moment, be confident that there is more to come.
