Skyforge is making screenshots way easier with its new screen-pausing ‘photomode’

Gods.

Do you suffer from screenshot envy? Does it bother you that developers will produce screenshots that offer a perfect little slice of the action available in the game, while your screenshots inevitably turn into muddled messes of particle effects? The addition of Skyforge‘s new photomode in its next major patch doesn’t provide you with the ability to take better screenshots automatically, but it does give you more control over the image… if you’re willing to accept the risk.

Pressing the button to enter photomode (the “End” key by default) will essentially act as a display pause button. Everything on your screen will freeze, allowing you to play with angles, move the camera, move the center of the shot, and otherwise line things up to take the perfect picture. Unfortunately for you, this does not in any way prevent you from being attacked, damaged, and killed while taking your shot. If you don’t mind suffering for your photography, though, it promises to be a great addition.
