Asta outlines the changes coming to its open beta version

THAT WORKED SO WELL

Localizing a game rarely means that it can have huge new features implemented, but it does usually mean that balance can be tweaked to address issues that crop up in the localized version. The changes coming to Asta with its open beta version aren’t enough to rewrite the core of the game, but they do make significant changes to the experience of playing the game. Tai Tokens, for example, are becoming harder to get, while the rewards for those tokens are being improved, giving each individual token a higher exchange rate.

Changes are also being made to the game’s summoning and enhancement points to encourage players to use those points while downplaying the importance of just farming gold. The Berserker class, however, will not be added in the game’s open beta; while it’s planned for a later addition, the focus is currently on the core of the game. That should be good news for those who like farming for things other than gold on classes other than Berserker, we suppose.
