Experiencing Bless Online’s open-world PvP

What even is this any more.

If you’ve wondered what Bless Online’s PvP is like, Steparu.com can give you a peek in the Korean open beta. Upon reaching level 30, players begin questing with the enemy faction in open PvP areas. And by open we mean in towns as well as out in the wild; there are no safe zones, and players are always flagged for faction PvP. Higher-level characters also have full access to the area, so ganking does occur. At least you get a little warning: If you see someone coming at you with ??? in place of a name, you’ll know s/he is 10 levels above you. Not surprisingly, group questing becomes much more common at this point. For a look at how it plays out, check out the gameplay footage below.

A few other tidbits Steparu gleaned about PvP include the existence of an item that makes you immune to PK for 10 minutes, you can choose to revive at a resurrection point with a temporary debuff or run back to your body to avoid it, certain towns have guards that will attack players engaged in PvP, and you get actual XP for killing players. On top of that, the 100v100 battlegrounds are only open twice a day. Once you’re inside, your level will scale to 45.

Lineage 2 had pvp everywhere in the game except in towns and it was great .. nobody really cared to go to newbie zones to kill lvl 10 players ..
It also had karma system .. when u attack a player ur name turns violet for some time , during that time if u get killed by other player he gets a pvp point
but if u attack and kill someone who didn’t touch you .. then u get pk
and pk means ur name is red and people can attack u without getting violet and if u are killed any of ur items may fall and the more pk u have the harder it is to clean ur pk
which is cleaned by killing mops close to ur lvl .. to u don’t go pk in newbies zones.

New games have alot to learn from Lineage 2 <3

Karl_Hungus Bannex19 nop, you just should go to psychologist. gankfest games besides being for sick idiot no life people, are pointless. Go play COD or something if you want pvp. Gankers don’t care about anything in the game just gank newbies. Morons with big time.

Leilonii SallyBowls1 MorpayneRADIO You speak like the PvPers aren’t a bunch of self-entitled fucks. A lot of them are. OWPvP pretty much encourages dick behaviour, and while i love me some savage OW action, i’m well aware of the kind of people that it brings.

This looks about as much fun as a kick to the nether region.

cheesybites76 Silverlock That’s the “action” targeting mode, and it is (thankfully) completely optional. Tab-target is still in as an option and the preferred one unless they add actual hit detection to the game.
