Path of Exile’s upcoming expansion, Ascendancy, officially launches on March 4th, 2016 — at 3 p.m. EST, to be precise. The expansion is themed around a “daily changing maze of deadly traps and challenges” called the Lord’s Labyrinth. “The Emperor Izaro constructed deadly trials through Wraeclast to find worthy candidates,” Grinding Gear Games says. “Players will have a powerful set of new skills and items to conquer the Labyrinth, including the introduction of 19 new Ascendancy character classes, each with its own passive skill tree to master.”

Last week, the studio revealed three of those 19 new classes: The Hierophant, Berserker, and Pathfinder.

Grinding Gear Games is having a rather good month; the New Zealand developer announced in January that it had expanded its staff to 70 people. Massively OP’s MJ explored Path of Exile’s incoming content at the end of last year, and we included it in our recent guide to choosing an online action RPG.
