Landmark is introducing the new build mode

WE CAN BUILD IT

Playing Landmark is all about building. It’s also all about exploring and experiencing the things other people have built. It’s multi-faceted. That’s why the game is making it a bit easier to set your sights on a specific task at any given moment, starting with the game’s upcoming Build Mode. If you’re in the midst of really crafting something wondrous, Build Mode is there to help you filter out any distractions other than building.

All of the tools required for voxel building will no longer be located in your character’s inventory, but will instead be part of the Build Mode UI while being access with the same numerical keypress. Categories of materials, props, brushes, and other useful tools will now be more clearly organized and set up so that you can access any of the building tools you want in an instant. There’s also a new tint system coming for props, as displayed in the video down below. The mechanics of creating new things aren’t being changed, but having everything in a specific mode should make life that much easier.

Lhumierre Same here. If I had known they were just going to dump EQN like this, I would never have supported EQNL. Such a scam saying this was meant to help them build EQN to get people to pay for EQNL.

breetoplay Akami Oh.. and I just wanted to add.  It’s refreshing to know that gaming journalists like yourself are willing to stick it to these studios.  Actually asking them the hard questions, instead of simply asking them the canned crap everyone already knows.

My hats off to you.

breetoplay Akami Actually admitting that they have canceled EQN doesn’t help them what so ever from a business standpoint.  If anything it may cause them to lose more customers than they already have lost, it will for sure cause investors to lose faith in them.

Where as staying quiet just makes them the butt of all MMO jokes…. but I don’t think there’s anything else they can do at this point.  But being realistic, you have to admit that the odds of them actually actively working on EQN anymore are about as good as a fart’s chance in a wind tunnel.

nahenway BrandywineFred melissaheather Which actually goes to show that they are working on stuff that will go into EQN — there’s no way Landmark is making money, and the plug would’ve been pulled on it by now otherwise.

Akami I’ve pointed it out to them directly myself.

I just want one shred of news from EQN. I only supported EQNL because of EQN, It’s literally the one purchase i wish never happened.

BrandywineFred melissaheather Maybe US? Last time i logged in ( a few months ago) there were hardly any other players … And whenever i go on SteamCharts and take a look on Landmark there’re about 11 players playing the game (with steam).

I can’t help but wonder if Daybreak knows, or even cares, that EQN (and by extension EQNL)  has become the running gag of the MMO sphere.
