Playing Landmark is all about building. It’s also all about exploring and experiencing the things other people have built. It’s multi-faceted. That’s why the game is making it a bit easier to set your sights on a specific task at any given moment, starting with the game’s upcoming Build Mode. If you’re in the midst of really crafting something wondrous, Build Mode is there to help you filter out any distractions other than building.
All of the tools required for voxel building will no longer be located in your character’s inventory, but will instead be part of the Build Mode UI while being access with the same numerical keypress. Categories of materials, props, brushes, and other useful tools will now be more clearly organized and set up so that you can access any of the building tools you want in an instant. There’s also a new tint system coming for props, as displayed in the video down below. The mechanics of creating new things aren’t being changed, but having everything in a specific mode should make life that much easier.
