RIFT asks players what they’d like in a brand-new bag

I gots to bag it up.

Inventory space is at a premium in RIFT, but that’s always been an issue. The designers are aware of the issue, and they are well aware that something needs to be done, but unfortunately the original solution of moving over to a single big-bag system appears untenable. So the design team members are looking into another solution with specialized bags, and they’re hoping to employ player feedback to make the job just a little bit easier.

The intent is to add much larger bags for sale that can only hold specific types of items, thus storing a large number of those items without taking up space elsewhere. This led to the the poll linked above – the staff wants to see what sort of bags people would find most useful. If you find yourself staggering around RIFT with items figuratively spilling from your arms due to a sheer lack of space, you owe it to yourself to check out the poll and cast your vote.
